| Middle School French CurriculumThe Middle School French language program is based on the TPR Storytelling approach. Total Physical Response Storytelling is a system of acquiring the language through mastery of a few expressions a day, every day, all year. The program involves listening, viewing, and acting in the story, re-telling, reading and writing. Through Total Physical Response Storytelling, students learn to tell stories set in an authentic context. The rich context of stories, songs, games, cultural projects and beginning literature brings learning to life and activates the pattern-making functions of the brain, ensuring that learning is happening.
