Custodian Part-Time

Visitation School seeks a Custodian to work Monday - Friday 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM and periodic weekend work.

The qualified candidate will have 3+ years experience and be willing to embrace Visitation's Mission. Duties will include cleaning, refuse removal, snow removal, event set up/take down, floor cleaning/buffing & misc duties.

Chef Manager

Visitation School seeks a Chef Manager to oversee the Food Service Department and assist in serving lunch to over 600 students, faculty and staff.

Key job description duties include:
•    Responsibility for all hiring, training and performance of 6 direct reports
•    Food preparation on a large quantity basis and presenting it in an inviting manner
•    Working within a defined budget and tracking all food costs
•    Menu planning
•    Food ordering and storage
•    Interacting with students, parent volunteers, faculty and other constituents

The qualified candidate will:
•    Be willing to embrace Visitation's Mission
•    Have 3+ years experience as chef manager working in a food preparation facility. School food service experience is a plus.
•    Have 5+ years of additional general food service experience
•    Have a two-year AA Degree in Food Service Management, with additional training/education preferred
•    Be certified in food safety
•    Have thorough knowledge of HACCP
•    Have understanding of appropriate dietary needs of school age children
•    Be comfortable communicating with several types of constituents

DINING ROOM COORDINATOR

Convent of the Visitation School is looking for a part-time Dining Room Coordinator to join our Food Service team. The schedule during the school year rotates on a daily basis M, W & F 10:00 am - 1:30 pm and T & Th 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.

Key responsibilities will include:
•    Organizes and coordinates the use of volunteers for serving the lunch meal over 600 students, faculty and staff at the Visitation School
•    Leads students in prayer before the start of each meal period
•    Maintains an atmosphere of order and discipline in the dining room and assists with serving lunch items as needed
•    Distribute morning snack to Upper School students Tuesday & Thursday mornings
•    Serves as a backup, providing 15 minute breaks to other staff

KITCHEN HELPER Part Time

Convent of the Visitation School is looking for a part-time Kitchen Helper to join our Food Service team. The schedule rotates on a weekly basis M-F, 8:00 am - 1:30 pm and 9:30 am - 1:30 pm to assist us in serving over 600 students, faculty and staff.

Main duties will include:
•    Light food prep
•    Dishwashing
•    Salad Bar Set Up
•    Set up and clean up of food serving areas
•    Re-stocking food during 3 lunch shifts
•    General maintenance of kitchen areas
