EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM

Extended Day is Visitation’s school-age childcare program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. The program is open from 2:40pm-6pm on school days and 7am-6pm on non-school days.

In Extended Day, children participate in many educational and recreational activities on a daily basis. During a typical day, activities include: playing outside, having a healthy snack, completing homework assignments, participating in self-directed play opportunities and participating in teacher-guided activities.

When school is not in session, Extended Day is open for “long days” for students from both Visitation and other schools around the community. Many exciting theme-based projects and activities are planned for our students. We utilize the entire school campus, and occasionally field trips are planned. Some fun activities from past non-school long days include: bowling, a corn maze, a pizza party, an Easter egg hunt, a wild animal visit, a pajama party, karaoke, cooking projects and much more! Children from any school are invited to participate in Visitation’s Extended Day program on non-school long days! ?
