Freshmen Parent OrientationParents of incoming freshmen are invited to an orientation
session on Thursday, August 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the
Visitation School Dining Room. While the freshmen dine with their Big
Sisters in the senior class, parents can hear from Renee Genereux, Director of
the Upper School; Rene Gavic, Dean of
Students; Anne Gimpl, School Counselor; Susan Roers, Chemical Health
Counselor; and Susan Russomanno, Learning Specialist. These
staff members will give short presentations about what parents and
students can expect during freshmen year, and they will answer questions.
The Big Sister/Little Sister Picnic between
seniors and freshmen will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
