Visitation to Host College Sports Night

Students who are interested in playing sports in college and would like some professional advice and their parents are invited to attend Collegeinfo night on Thursday, April 10. This General Information Session will be held in DeChantal Auditorium from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and will be led by nationally recognized student-athlete advisor, Ms. Ramona Barber. Ms. Barber’s Collegeinfo program has been developed over twenty years and is nationally recognized by high schools, universities, and coaches at every level of collegiate athletics. Her program is especially valuable with regard to information on college opportunities and emphasis on goal-setting by students with parent involvement. The cost to attend this session is $25 per family, payable at the door.

Ms. Barber's program also involves a limited number of One to One Personal Conferences with athletes who are either starting their college search or making their final school choice and their parents. These conferences are available on a first come-first served basis and may be scheduled by signing up on the Collegeinfo reservation sheet outside the athletic office. The cost for a personal conference is $110 per student. The available times are
*Friday, April 11: 3-5 p.m. or 5-7 p.m.
*Saturday, April 12: 8:30-10:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 2-4 p.m., 4-6 p.m.
*Sunday, April 13: 8:30-10:30a.m., 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 2-4 p.m.

More information, including more specific details on what is presented at the General Information Seminar, what happens during the One to One Personal Conference, and biographical and reference information on Ramona Barber may be found outside the athletic office. For additional information, please contact Athletic Director Mike Brill via email.

"If something troubles you...humble yourself gently before God, and try to bring your mind into a quiet attitude. Say to yourself: 'Well, I have made a false step, now I must go more carefully and watchfully."
