Middle School Art Curriculum
The overall goal of the Art department is to collaborate with other classroom teachers in order to compliment and enhance students’ understanding of their core subjects. The curriculum encompasses the four disciplines of art which are: production, art history, art criticism and aesthetics. Seven major projects are completed each year with the purpose of creating an appreciation for the art in our lives. We utilize the outdoor classroom as another way to draw on our surroundings and apply them to our world. |
