Swim/Dive Meeting for Students & Parents
The
2010 CAA Swim/Dive season is just around the corner for students in Kindergarten–grade 8.
An
informational meeting for parents and interested swimmers and divers will be
held on Thursday, December 17, from 3-4pm in the Visitation Athletic
Lobby.
Meeting
Agenda:
- Meet and Greet
- Introduce
Visitation Swim/Dive coach, Naomi Hamer
- Introduce
Visitation Team Manager, Ann McGrath
- Gather roster of
interested participants
- Gather contact
information
- Swimsuit sizing and
ordering (same suit as last year)
- New Spirit Wear
(orders can be placed on line and samples will be available for sizing)
General
Information:
- K – 8 Visitation
Students who have not participated on the school’s Junior Varsity or
Varsity Swim/Dive Team are encouraged and eligible to
participate.
Swim/Dive
Practice:
- Practice is
estimated to begin the week of January 4, 2009.
- Swim practice will
be held from 3:00 – 3:45p.m., Monday through Thursday at Saint Thomas Academy.
Swimmers will be asked to attend at least two practices per week.
- Diving practice
will be held at Dakota
Hills Middle
School, with the days and times to be
determined.

Please note: CAA prelims are scheduled for March 27-28, 2010. The state
finals are yet to be determined, but most likely will occur on Monday or Tuesday,
March 29 or 30, 2010. Visitation's spring break runs from March 29-April 9, 2010.
