THE MYSTERY OF SIMON
SHEPHERD
Middle School Sacred
Christmas Musical
Wednesday, December 16,
2009
1:00 p.m. (for STA & Lower School
students) & 7:00 p.m.
It
is census time in Bethlehem and Simon the Shepherd is nowhere to be found.
Bethlehem's best
Judge, Trudy Justice, is the only one who can preside over such a baffling
case, and lawyers, Matt Hemlock and F. Lee Maybe, fight it out to find out
whodunit.
There is a suspicious Innkeeper and Caesar Augustus himself is
summoned away from his palace as a witness to solve this riddle.
There are eight great songs in the show, featuring many styles of music. All Middle
School students will get to experience what it is like to be “a big shot actor”
in a musical.
Students
will be featured in dances, vocal solos, various lead roles, and they will even
be playing parts like sheep! This musical will be filled with many surprises,
even asking the audience to participate throughout the show.
All
Middle School students should arrive, dressed and
ready to perform, at 6:40 p.m.
Students who have lead roles should plan to arrive at 6:00 p.m.

It will be a wonderful evening featuring
all Middle School students!
