Why Vis? In this month's View from Vis blog, Upper School Director Anna Barter has some heartfelt answers to that question, particularly in regard to Visitation's impact on herself, the students and the broader community. Please read this month's blog post to see some of Dr. Barter's answers to why Vis is such a compelling place.
All Upper School students, especially incoming freshmen, are invited to attend the Visitation Robotics team's annual Summer Camp! This exciting opportunity allows participants to try fun STEM activities like programming, marketing, and building projects that include learning to use a drill press, a break, a shear, soldering, wiring and more! Students will learn about the robotics team, sample the four sub-teams: mechanical, electrical, programming, and business; and make friends!
Camp will be held in Opus Hall on Monday through Thursday from 6pm-9pm for two weeks, July 31-August 3 and August 7-10.
The cost is $50. Do not let financial constraints keep you from participating; contact our lead mentor Sydney Benz at firstname.lastname@example.org for confidential financial assistance.
