Graduation Dress Rules
According to Visitation tradition, the graduates wear white dresses, which may be either full- length or tea-length. We ask that the dresses be appropriate for afternoon wear in modesty and style and that proper undergarments be worn. A tea-length dress is four inches above the anklebone, and all dresses must have straps at least one-and-a-half inches wide. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Please start bringing in your graduation dresses for approval. If you are having it made it would be best to see the pattern before it's made. Ms. Ryan or Mrs. Parsley will be previewing the dresses no later than Friday, April 23, 2010. Dresses must be approved in order to receive your graduation tickets.
Crescents:Several people have not turned their yellow crescent cards in. Please do that as soon as possible.

Alumnae-Senior Tea – Tuesday, May 18, 2:15 - 3:30 p.m.
At the alumnae-senior tea, the seniors are introduced to the Alumnae Association as new members. The girls wear afternoon dresses instead of uniforms for this lovely occasion. This event will be held in the dining room.
Senior-Parent Liturgy and Brunch – Sunday, May 23, 11:00 a.m.
This is the last time that seniors worship as a class in the monastery chapel. It is a very meaningful Eucharistic celebration during which the sisters and the parents join the seniors in asking for God’s special blessing as they graduate from Visitation. Brunch follows in the dining room.
We join with all our staff members and the sisters in wishing this senior class a year filled with good experiences. We want the seniors’ graduation day to be a happy one as they look back on their life at Visitation with pride, a sense of accomplishment, and the knowledge that they have formed values and friendships that will be with them always.
