Winter Head Dance Team Coach 2026-2027

2026-27 MSHSL Dance Team Season: October 2026 – February 2027

Reports to Visitation's Director of Athletics & Activities

This position manages all coaching aspects of the Dance Team, collaborates with Assistant Coaches, works closely with Athletic administration, and contributes as a member of the Visitation Dance program and Athletic Department at large.

Qualifications:

• High-level commitment to student-athlete safety.
• Ability to embrace and uphold Salesian values.
• Comprehensive knowledge of competitive dance, choreography, and skill development.
• Ability and commitment to developing a strong Dance Team program.
• Familiarity with MSHSL Dance Team rules.
• Ability to positively motivate and develop student-athletes.
• Competitive coaching and/or dance experience.
• Strong communication skills with student-athletes, families, and administration.
• Ability to organize and supervise practices, performances, and competitions.
• CPR/AED Certification is strongly desired.
