Head Varsity Basketball Coach

2026-27 MSHSL Girls Basketball Season November 16 - March 20, 2027

Reports to Visitation's Director of Athletics and Activities

This position manages the Varsity Basketball team, works closely with Athletic administration and contributes as a member of the Visitation Basketball program and Athletic Department at large.

Qualifications: 

-  High-level commitment to student-athlete safety

-  Ability to embrace and uphold Salesian values

-  Comprehensive knowledge of the sport

-  Ability and commitment to developing a strong Basketball program

-  Familiarity with MSHSL rules 

-  Ability to positively motivate and develop student-athletes

-  Competitive coaching and/or playing experience

-  Strong communication skills with student-athletes, families and administration

-  Knowledge of sports performance safety

-  CPR/AED Certification is strongly desired
