Global Programming Expands Its Scope

Providing a global education has defined Visitation School since the beginning. Decades later, global programming was formally encoded in the school as a pillar in its Portrait of a Visitation Learner. Vis students, the document says, are “engaged globally” and “continually seek understanding of their own culture and history to better understand their place in both local and global communities.”

Faith In Action

Each year, Visitation School seniors wrap up their classes two weeks before graduation and spend at least 48 hours serving at a local Twin Cities organization. We asked a few of our long-time service partners and a student to reflect on the senior project program and how it offers a unique educational experience, not for school, but for life.
