College Prep Program

Welcome to the College Counseling Office. We provide personal support at every stage of the college search and application process.

Our college counseling efforts begin in our students’ freshman year. In both the freshman and sophomore years, we provide initial guidance to students and their families through evening information sessions, print materials and classroom visits. These first years serve to bring awareness and encouragement to our students.

Beginning in junior year, our counseling is further enhanced by classroom instruction, individual student meetings, a parent seminar and a college fair in an effort to solidly prepare students for the senior year college application process.

During the senior year, we guide students through each element of the process, ultimately refining a list of schools that are a good fit for each student and assisting them in applying to those schools. Our goal is to find the best post-secondary education match to each student’s desires and abilities. We take great satisfaction in the placement of our students in schools that help them succeed in this next step of their life journey. One hundred percent of our graduates attend four-year colleges and universities, including some of the nation’s most selective schools.
