A Christmas Message from Head of School

Dear Visitation Families, Alumnae, and Friends: 

Our 2023 Advent theme is “Welcome Jesus with a gentle and humble heart.” Throughout this Advent season, we centered our reflections on the many people who lived in preparation for Jesus’s coming – Isaiah, John the Baptist, Elizabeth, Mary, and Joseph. Together we read their stories,  seeking inspiration as we prepare to welcome Jesus with gentle and humble hearts.  

Our 2023 Christmas Card video reflects the joy within our community and highlights some of the ways Visitation embraced the spirit of Advent: the collection and distribution of nearly 600 Christmas stockings (filled with generous gifts from our Vis community), weekly prayer services, Lower School Christmas concert, VISTA Middle and Upper School Christmas concerts, and the many creative Advent lessons developed by our faculty.

Let us joyfully welcome the Christ Child with gentle and humble hearts. All of us at Visitation School wish you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and peace in the new year.
