April 23: Distance Learning Extended Through End of School Year
Governor Walz announced that Minnesota schools will remain closed through the end of the school year. Accordingly, Visitation School will continue distance learning until Thursday, June 4, our scheduled last day of school. Seniors' scheduled last day of distance learning will still be May 22. We also learned today that the Minnesota State High School League has canceled the spring athletics season.
We understand how difficult this news is, and we know that distance learning is not the way any of us envisioned concluding this school year. We miss sharing in all the moments with you on our campus. While there is no substitute for coming together as a community, we are working to creatively reimagine these occasions. We will find significant ways to acknowledge all of the hard work that our students have put into this year, celebrate milestones, and share that joy with our Visitation community.

We will be in communication with families early next week in the event that we move to distance learning. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we respond to rapidly evolving circumstances.
