November and December at Visitation School are filled with festive events and joyful traditions that bring our community together. Whether you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit or embrace the Christmas season, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Thanksgiving Gift Card Collection
For more than 30 years, Visitation Campus Ministry has partnered with the Visitation Minneapolis Monastery to support families in the North Minneapolis area. This year, we are inviting anyone who is able to donate $25 Cub Foods gift cards. The Sisters specifically requested this store and the dollar amount as the most helpful for people in their neighborhood. Or use the online form and $25 gift cards will be purchased with whatever we receive.
Donations may be dropped off at any time with homeroom or classroom teachers (please label for “Campus Ministry”) or brought directly to the Campus Ministry office. Thank you in advance for your generous donations.

Christmas Stocking Project
For over 30 years, students at Visitation have participated in a wonderful project to help provide a Christmas celebration for children in North Minneapolis. We began with about 150 children and now, as a community, decorate and fill over 500 stockings. For those of you who are new to our community, this is how it works:
Through the Sisters at the North Minneapolis Visitation, we obtain the names of children in the area who are in need. Most of these children are living in extreme poverty; some have lives impacted by violence and abuse. Their families lack the resources to provide a Christmas celebration. That’s where students and families from Visitation can help!
This year, we hope to provide Christmas gifts to around 500 children. Join in and learn more here.
Deck the Halls at Vis, Dec 2, 6-8 p.m.
Visitation parents and guardians -- you are invited to join the Visitation Parents’ Association for a festive evening as we decorate the Heart Entrance for Christmas! Enjoy some holiday cheer, connect with other Visitation parents, and help us make our school sparkle for the season.

Lower School Christmas Concert, Thursday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.
Visitation Lower School presents "Jingle Bell Jukebox" here on Thursday, December 4 at 6 p.m. in DeSales Auditorium. Join us for a joy-filled evening!
Vis the Season, Saturday, Dec. 6
Join Visitation School on Saturday, December 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Vis the Season, Christmas fun for all ages. Marketplace opens at 11 a.m. Bring your Christmas wishlist! Santa arrives at 11:30 a.m. for story time. Visits and complimentary photos with Santa Claus will be available from 12 to 2 p.m. Stop by the Christmas Marketplace and get your holiday shopping done. Local vendors will offer a variety of products — there’s something for everyone on your list!
Food truck, treats and beverages will be available. Kids (and adults) can write a letter to Santa. We’ll make sure it is delivered to the North Pole! Complimentary face painting is available and a holiday-themed cake walk too. And don’t miss snapping your photo in the “Elfie” booth! Learn more here.
VISTA Christmas Concert, Sunday, Dec. 7
Join us for the annual VISTA Christmas Choral and Orchestra Concert on Sunday, December 7 at 4 p.m. at Visitation School featuring the Middle and Upper School choirs and orchestra from Visitation School ande Saint Thomas Academy. Event is free and open to all!

Visitation School and Saint Thomas Academy Christmas Cookie Decorating Party, December 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Get ready to kick off the holiday season with a sweet morning of fun, food and festive cheer! Join fellow moms and female guardians from Visitation School and Saint Thomas Academy for a delightful Christmas Cookie Decorating Party. Decorate classic sugar cookies to take home (4 dozen), enjoy a light brunch, sip on drinks from our beverage bar, and connect with friends old and new. Plus, there will be door prizes to add extra holiday sparkle!

VISTA Bands Winter Concert, Tuesday, Dec. 16
The VISTA Bands will host their annual winter concert on Tuesday, December 16, at 7 p.m. in DeSales Auditorium at Visitation. This performance will feature the VISTA Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble as well as the Saint Thomas Academy Intermediate Band. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend!
Visitation School & Saint Thomas Academy Holiday Skate, December 20
Celebrate the season with family and friends at the Vis + STA Holiday Skate! Join us on Saturday, December 20, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas Ice Arena for an afternoon of skating, laughter and holiday cheer.
Note: Please bring your own skates, as rentals will not be available.
Meet the Blazer Hockey Team, Dec. 27, 3 p.m. at St. Thomas Ice Arena
Calling all Blazer Fans! Join us on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 3 p.m. as the Blazers take on New Prague. Meet the team and coaching staff, collect autographs, and even score some Vis merch! Bring a friend or two and let's pack the ice arena for Blazer Hockey! Admission is free - Registration requested. Register here.
