Tennis 

STATE ALERT:

Meryl Rosenberger finished in second place in the section, which qualified her for the Individual State Tournament - Go Meryl!  The Class AA Individual State Tennis Tournament takes place on October 22-25 at the Baseline Tennis Center.  The bracket will be posted here and detailed state information can be found here. 

Both singles and doubles had strong matches in the Individual Section Bracket, with Meryl receiving the #2 seed and finishing in 2nd place and Reese receiving the #3 seed and finishing in third place.  Since it was an individual bracket, Meryl and Reese faced off against each other in the semifinal match, which eventually resulted in them finishing in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.  A special nod to the two of them for exhibiting class, competitiveness and support for the team and each other throughout the tournament.

In the team tournament, the Blazers fell, 3-4, to the #1 seed East Ridge in a battle with three of the last matches going into three sets.  Congrats to the Tennis program for another strong season and for being #StateBound!

Soccer

Blazer Soccer earns the #1 seed in the Section 3A Tournament.

Section 3A Bracket

The Blazers’ wins over Nova and Trinity advanced them to the Section Final vs. SPA on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m at Two Rivers.  Bring a blanket and come cheer on the Blazers!  Note that all section games charge admission; get your tickets your tickets here.  If Vis wins we go to State!

Volleyball

Blazer Volleyball earns the #1 seed in the Section 3AAA Tournament.

Section 3AAA Bracket

With a regular season record of 13-4, the Vis Volleyball team secured the #1 seed in Section 3AAA, above competitors including CDH, DLS and many more.  The first round is at Vis on October 22 at 7 p.m. Pack the gym!
