The Visitation Alpine program advanced to State as a team for the first time since 2002 and earned third place. They are no stranger to individual state berths, but their outstanding depth of talent forged them past the Edina, Duluth East, Blake, Forest Lake and Minnetonka teams. Congrats to the whole team, and to head coach Ellie Frischmon and assistant coach Jacob Abbott. 

Congratulations are also in order for Claire Provencher '28, who earned first place, making her state champion. Claire's combined time of 1:15.01 over two runs was the best out of 88 skiers at the State Meet on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Giants Ridge. Claire's younger sister, Marlo '30, also came away with an individual honor, taking fifth with a combined time of 1:17.76.
