Lower School Director's Notes

A message from Director of Lower School, Jessica Hallin:

Greetings Lower School Families,

My cheeks still hurt from the joy and smiles thanks to our Spring Showcase. Thank you to all the wonderful loved ones that joined us for the fantastic evening of art, music and true creativity from your children. It was a great evening and we thank you for joining us!

Also, with great gratitude, I would like to share that our fifth graders raised $1,611 during the Art Show by selling their art totes. Thanks to your generous donations, three charities, selected with care by our students, will now get a little extra love from Visitation fifth graders. Thanks to all who donated and purchased a gorgeous bag!

The joy and excitement of Spring continues, we ended last week with a fun-filled Field Day. The Vis sophomores did a wonderful job of leading and hosting this engaging event, which got all our students up, moving and playing games together.

We then kicked off this week with our highly anticipated Move Up Day. Students took some time to visit their teacher and classroom for the next school year. This is a great opportunity for us to start bridging the path to next year.

As we wrap up this year, there is a lot to reflect on and be grateful for. We have had a year full of joy, excitement and fun while fully engaged in learning. Our students have shown much growth, both academically and socially. For that, and so much more, I am grateful. Leading and serving your families and this special Lower School community is a true joy.

With gratitude,

Jessica Hallin
