Middle School Director's Notes

A Message from Middle School Director, Ilse Norris:

Dear Visitation Middle School families,

On Monday, the Middle School students had the opportunity to enjoy an all-middle-school picnic. Chef Tyler prepared a wonderful barbecue lunch for us and the weather cooperated, so the students had a chance to sit outside, eat lunch, and sign each other’s yearbooks. As I watched the middle schoolers enjoy each other’s company, I couldn’t help but think what a wonderful way this was to celebrate the end of a great school year as a community!

The first and sixth graders did a God's Creation of Nature bingo search throughout the grounds last week, from the peacocks to Hanky's garden. The sixth graders were not only great role models for the first graders, but they were also conscientious to make sure their buddies were learning and were always respectful. The energy and enthusiasm were uplifting to watch. What a great way to enjoy all of God's creation!

On Thursday, May 26, we will host the Middle School music and orchestra concert in DeSales Auditorium. Mr. Ross Bell, our talented music teacher, and Ms. Meghan McGuire, our orchestra virtuosa, have been hard at work to get the students ready for this big event. Students need to enter through the Heart doors and gather in the DeChantal auditorium by 6:15 pm. The concert starts promptly at 7 pm. Attire is formal uniform. Hope to see you there!

Looking ahead:
