Traffic & Parking Updates for the 2026–27 School Year

The safety of our students, families and faculty/staff is our highest priority. As we prepare for the new school year, we ask for your partnership in helping keep our campus safe during arrival and dismissal.

New for 2026–27: Drop-Off/Pick Up Procedures

To improve traffic flow and enhance safety, student drop-offs will no longer be permitted in the center parking lanes. These lanes are designated for parking only. There are signs posted on the light poles as a reminder. All drop-offs and pick-ups should take place in the designated drop-off lane.

This change will help reduce congestion, improve visibility for pedestrians and create a safer environment for everyone on campus.

Campus Driving Reminders
When driving on Visitation's campus, please:

  • Drive slowly, stay alert and avoid distractions
  • Refrain from using your mobile device while driving.
  • Come to a complete stop at all stop signs.
  • Watch carefully for students, staff and other pedestrians.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminders

To help arrival and dismissal run safely and efficiently:

  • Please use the designated drop-off lane each morning and afternoon.
  • Students should only exit on the curbside, and adults should remain in the car. Those vehicles with children needing assistance should pull into the 10 minute drop-off spaces
  • Students should cross Visitation Drive only at the designated crosswalk where a staff member is directing traffic.
  • Please remain patient in the drop-off and pick-up lines.
  • Do not pass vehicles that are moving through the parking lot, even if traffic is slow.

If grandparents, relatives, carpool drivers or other caregivers will be transporting your child during the school year, please take a few moments to review these traffic procedures with them. Ensuring that everyone who drives on campus understands our arrival and dismissal expectations helps keep our community safe.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us provide a safe and welcoming campus for every member of our community. By working together and following these procedures, we can ensure a smooth arrival and dismissal experience for everyone.
