Visitation’s Investment Club is making headlines, literally! WCCO News recently featured our talented student investors for their impressive work managing a real investment portfolio on behalf of the school. Founded in 2019 by then-high school juniors with guidance from a Vis alum parent and an expert advisory board, the club has grown the account by nearly 87% since taking the reins.

This is not a simulation: students research, pitch and vote on real stocks including household names like Chipotle, Intel and Spotify, and have already contributed part of the portfolio’s average market value to the school’s operating revenue in support of tuition assistance.

The Investment Club gives students hands-on exposure to the world of finance, decision-making and values-based investing all while supporting their school community.
