A message from the Community Engagement Office:
By now, many of you have heard that Visitation and Saint Thomas Academy have plans to build a new aquatics center that will be shared and co-branded for our communities. This new, state-of-the-art, aquatics center will replace the current pool on the STA campus.
Please view this special video message from Chip Michel, STA 1967. Chip and his wife, Mary, are the lead donors for this fundraising effort.
We set out to raise 10 million dollars and now have less than $1 million to bring this aquatic center to life. NOW is the time to make your gift and help us reach that finish line. No gift is too small! Honor your favorite swimmer and leave a lasting impact for years to come!
To make a donation by check, Donor Advised Fund, or if would like to make a pledge to be paid over a 3-5 year period, please contact Charlotte Bovee/651-683-1725. To make your gift online please visit visitation.net/poolproject.
The new aquatic center on the Saint Thomas Academy campus will include a 25-yard pool with eight lanes, a diving board, bleacher seating for 300, and expanded deck space. In addition to being the training and competition home for the Cadets and the Blazers, the new aquatic center will serve local swim clubs and Catholic Athletic Association schools.
