Mothers' Morning of Prayer

All women from Visitation School and Saint Thomas Academy are invited to join together to pray, reflect, and have small group time to share and get to know other women in the Visitation and Saint Thomas Academy communities. All Visitation and Saint Thomas Academy mothers, guardians, alum moms, and Visitation alumnae are invited!

Join together on Friday, February 23 at STA from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. for a beautiful morning of prayer, friendship and a wonderful speaker, Gina Bauer. She will speak on topics from her new book Undivided LoveYou Are Worth the Fight. The book is a love story—a story of the extravagant, lavish love that God has for all of his children. Gina will explore the principles outlined in Saint John Paul Il's Apostolic Letter, On the Dignity and Vocation of Women (Mulieris Dignitatem). Saint John Paul Il believed in women. In his Apostolic Letter, he summons the women of the Church to take the place God has prepared for them. This means that women, inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit, are called to step it up, to be a part of the answer for the many dangers that humanity is facing. He is directing all women to influence human change as the grace is given to them through the power of the Holy Spirit. All who attend this morning of reflection will be challenged, inspired, and encouraged to seek a better understanding of what it is to live in Undivided Love. You are worth the fight.

$10-$15 suggested donation at the door, please RSVP here. Volunteers are also needed, please consider helping HERE.

The morning begins with Mass at 8:30 a.m in the STA chapel. We will transition to the Sjoberg Gym for light refreshments, speaker and small group time. The morning will adjourn by 11:45 a.m.. The event is sponsored by the STA Mothers' Club and the Visitation Parents' Association.
