Visitation’s Swim & Dive Team Dominates at the State Championship Meet

A message From Director of Competitive Activities, Elisa Ryan Manny '99:

Visitation’s Swim & Dive dynasty qualified 12 swimmers in 11 events for the State meet and won their ninth consecutive and 13th overall State Championship, beating the state’s top competitors by a significant margin. The 400 Free Relay team of Anna Farley '23, Ella Passe '23, B Burke '23 and Katie Miller '25 captured first place with an All-American consideration time of 3.30.37. In the 500 Free, the meet’s longest, most difficult event, the Blazers swept the top four finishes in an unprecedented show of dominance.

The Blazers' season ends with a slew of victories, apparent in both accolades and team culture. Early NCAA commitments in the program include Anna Farley at Villanova and Ella Passe at Duke, the team received a Coaches Association Academic Gold Award, Anna Farley was named Section 4A Swimmer of the Year, Coach Meghan Kemna received the Section 4A Assistant Coach of the Year award, Head Coach Nate Linscheid was nominated for a National Coach of the Year award and support from teammates and families ran deep.

Congratulations to the Swim & Dive program on another strong season!
