Visitation School and Saint Thomas Academy partner each year to offer VISTA Bus Transportation to our families. We provide a convenient, safe mode of transportation for our students - which alleviates the burden on parents to arrange individual rides. Riding the bus fosters a sense of community among our students as they commute together, encouraging social interaction and camaraderie.

We are excited to also announce that Schmitty & Sons will return as our provider. Schmitty & Sons is a Minnesota based, employee owned company with their own full-service maintenance team. Schmitty & Sons has staff onsite during all hours of operation and local management personnel available 24-hours a day.

Bus Routes - Group Pick-Up Locations
● West Metro (Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington)
● Central (Minneapolis, St. Paul)
● East Metro (North St. Paul, Woodbury)

Bus Rider Fee
● $2,150 per year 
● $1,000 each additional family rider fee

The fee is per student and cannot be adjusted for part time usage. Vis and STA subsidize approximately 40% of total bussing costs.

Bus Times
● Morning (usually between 6:30 - 7:15 a.m.)
● After-school 3:25 p.m. (Vis) 3:30 p.m. (STA)
● Late start mornings or early release afternoons, buses run on regular schedule.
● Final exam week will have adjusted bus route times

The cost for bus transportation is $2,150 per year, and $1,000 for each additional family rider. Cost includes morning pick-up to school and an afternoon return.

The West Metro route does have an Activity Bus option (15 riders minimum).
