A Message From Head of School Rene Gavic

Dear Visitation Families,

This beautiful fall has flown by and it's hard to believe it is MEA break.

We held our annual Vis Give Day yesterday on Oct. 19. Thank you for your inspiring support and generosity that helps this beautiful school thrive. We are so grateful.

The past two weeks have been busy for our students! Middle and Upper School orchestra students, led by Meghan McGuire, and the Upper School VISTA choirs, led by Randi Rexroth, performed at St. Peter's Church the past two Sundays. It was the first time they were able to perform before an audience in almost two years. It's gratifying to see our students do what they love! Our student-athletes are competing hard in the postseason. See the full round up in the postseason update. More than 82% of Visitation's Upper School students participate in a sport. We are so proud of these student-athletes and their dedication.

Senior Salesian Leaders made visits to Lower and Middle School classrooms over the past week. It's wonderful to see our senior leaders build connections and develop heart-to-heart relationships with our younger students. Our Salesian virtues are the foundation to all we do here at Visitation, including providing an excellent academic education for all our students.

I wish you all a restful break.

In gratitude,

Rene Gavic
Head of School
