Meet Visitation's New Alpine Coach!

A Message from Director of Competitive Activities Elisa Ryan Manny '99:

Visitation Athletics is pleased to announce the hire of John Frischmon as our new Head Alpine Coach. Coach Frischmon has been a downhill ski racer his whole life.  Competitively, he has skied at the U.S.Ski and Snowboard Association and International Ski Federation levels, as well as the collegiate level at Michigan Tech, the varsity high school level at Chicago Lakes and at Wild Mountain youth races.

Coach Frischmon looks forward to developing skiers of all abilities and preparing varsity-level skiers to compete at their highest potential. When they are not on the hill, he also intends to integrate Visitation’s Sports Performance program into the team’s schedule on a weekly basis so that student-athletes can perform at their strongest and safest abilities.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in power from Michigan Tech and works as an electrical engineer at HDR. We are excited to have him at the helm of our Alpine program. Welcome, Coach Frischmon!

Go Blazers!
