Visitation's Summer Solution program, located in Mendota Heights, MN, includes summer classes and summer camps and is a fun-filled, academically enriched program serving girls and boys from preschool through grade 12. Enrollment is open to all. Our program offers a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment for learning, enrichment and creativity. Visitation summer camps, consistent with our philosophy for educating students, is guided by the virtues of gentle strength, joyful optimism, respect and humility.

Summer Camp is for students entering grades 1-6 for the 2025-2026 school year. The program engages participants in a fun camp
experience with various activities such as group games, art projects, outside time, free choice, reading time, and specialty classes. Various schedule options are available between 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
1-6 Summer camp options and fees :
Grade levels are based on the grade the student is entering in the Fall of 2025.
Camps are al a carte, register for a full day of camp or a combination of half-day morning or afternoon camps
Camps will be closed on July 4
Morning Extended Hours from 7:30-9 a.m. and Afternoon Extended Hours from 3:30 - 5 p.m. are included in all camp options.
You can select two of the options below to create a full-day schedule, or you can also select a half-day option.
Morning options

Blazer Club Camp provides a traditional summer camp experience. The morning session includes crafts, sports, games, and outdoor activities. The afternoon session includes outdoor activities, group games, and other enrichment activities. The morning session is available from 7:30 a.m. to noon, and the afternoon session from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Enrichment Classes are specialized classes with different interest content areas of focus, led by highly qualified faculty and staff members. These enrichment opportunities allow students to explore and be inspired by various options. Most morning enrichment sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Morning Extended begins at 7:30 a.m. is included. Most afternoon enrichment sessions will run from either 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m . Afternoon Extended Day is available until 5:30 p.m. is included in the Enrichment cost.

Enrichment Classes are offered June 16- August 8. (Note: no Enrichment classes offerings June 11-13, June 30- July 3, and August 11-13)
Sample Daily Schedule:
7:30 - 9 a.m. - Drop-off/playground time -- this is complimentary and included in both Blazer Club Camp and Enrichment Class Fees.
9 a.m. -noon - Morning Enrichment Class or Blazer Club Camp, includes 30-minute recess and snack break
Noon - 1 p.m. - Lunch and Recess
12:30 or 1 p.m. - Afternoon Enrichment Class or Blazer Club Camp, includes 30 minute recess and snack break
1-2:15 p.m. - Blazer Club Camp Activities include weekly theme, Art, Gym, Nature, Crafts, Recess ,etc.
4-5:30 p.m. - Blazer Club Camp Activities include weekly theme, Art, Gym, Nature, Crafts, Recess ,etc. -- this is complimentary and included in both Blazer Club Camp and Enrichment Class Fees.
Less than 5 days per week enrollment option:
After the registration/cancellation deadline on May 15, any remaining full-day camp spots will become available for campers who wish to register for less than five days per week. Please note: campers not enrolled in full-week (5-day) camp will miss out on activities that build from day to day on days they are not present. This can be very disappointing for campers, so we strongly recommend five-day per week enrollment. We will do our best to provide alternative activities where a camper attends less than 5 days weekly.
Enrollment is non-refundable and offered on a space-available basis only
All camp participants must register for a minimum of 10 days throughout the summer and two days in a particular week
Junior Summer Camp is for children entering Pre-K and Kindergarten in the 2025-2026 school year. Junior Summer Campers will participate in a variety of activities each day, including storytime, group projects, free choice, rest time, snacks and other special activities. Space is limited and preference will be given to currently enrolled Visitation Montessori Pre-K and Kindergarten students.

Junior Summer Camp programs for students not enrolled at Visitation School
After the registration/cancellation deadline on May 15, any remaining Junior Camp and Junior JumpStart spots will become available for campers not enrolled at Visitation School. Before that date, spots will be reserved for those enrolled at Visitation School for Pre-K and Kindergarten. Children who are new to Visitation will be required to submit a health care summary within one month of the child’s first day as well as an immunization record, per our child care licensing guidelines.
Minimum Use Policy
Junior Summer Campers must register for a set weekly schedule for at least 4 weeks. Please choose one or both sessions of the summer. We do not offer a “drop-in” option.
Please read the following statements carefully. Parents will be asked to sign this statement, confirming that you and your camper agree to follow these expectations while attending Visitation Summer Programs.
In keeping with Visitation’s philosophy, Visitation Summer Solution will strive to inspire and nurture students who carry themselves in a manner that reflects a commitment to honesty, respect for others, and respect for self. Every effort will be made to work, support and provide intervention to students who make errors of judgment and find themselves in breach of good conduct.
Campers at Visitation Summer Solution are expected to show kindness and respect for their fellow campers as well as staff members. We strive to create a fun, enriching and positive camp experience. Summer Solution staff are not equipped to manage chronic or significant behavior issues. Visitation Summer Solution reserves the right to determine if any disciplinary actions are warranted for not following the guidelines stated above.
If your child has an IEP or 504 Plan or receives behavioral or social-emotional support during the school year, please contact the Visitation Summer Solution Coordinator, Kayla Christy, and provide a copy of their IEP and/or 504 Plan before the first day of camp.
Registration, Payment and Cancellation Policies/ Procedures
Register online at visitation.net/summer. Payments may be made in full at registration, or participants may opt into a payment plan. The payment plan requires a deposit of 25% at registration with the remaining balance split between three additional payment dates (February 28, March 31, April 30). After May 15, all registrations must be paid in full at the time of registration. The deadline for schedule changes and cancellations is May 15, 2025; after that date, no refunds will be issued, regardless of attendance. Cancellations received before May 15, will be assessed a $25 cancellation fee per class/clinic/camp. All classes/clinics/camps are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Occasionally, we do not have enough students enrolled to fill a particular class/clinic/camp. Families will be notified in that event, and all payments will be refunded. The cancellation fee will be waived if Visitation must cancel a class/clinic/camp.
Illness Policies and Procedures
The summer program follows the school Illness exclusion/inclusion guidelines. More information can be found on the Visitation health office page . Due to the resources designated to each summer program, including faculty and staff training and teaching time, Visitation School Summer Programs do not offer refunds for missed days due to illness. If possible, the Summer Solution Coordinator will try to work with a family to transfer participants into classes later in the summer, when space permits. This is not a guaranteed transfer.
