A Message from Kindergarten teachers Kathryn Miller & Kelly Schumacher:

Our Kindergarteners have been hard at work combining reading and technology! Tech Integrationist Mrs. Irizarry taught the Kindergarteners to use the Morphi EDU app to create new storybook characters. Using this app, Kindergarteners were able to design and bring their characters to life. Mrs. Irizarry then printed the characters on the 3D printer. Using Padlet, the Kindergartners recorded short biographies about their book characters. They loved seeing their creations in 3D, recording their characters' stories, and learning more about how reading and tech can work together. Here are some photos:
