Dear Visitation School Families,
It seems like each day brings new changes in our battle to slow the spread of Covid-19. Yesterday afternoon, Governor Tim Walz announced a Stay Home Order for Minnesota from March 27 to April 10 and also asked for further physical distancing through May 1. You may be wondering, what does this mean for Visitation?
Our Vis community is strong and I draw inspiration from our faculty, staff and students who are adapting to our new found normal with grace and determination. The launch of distance learning went well and we will be checking in with families in the days ahead. We are excited to announce that Father Nick Hagen, Visitation chaplain, will live stream our First Friday Mass on April 3 at 11:40 a.m. Please watch our website for details.
While we know no one would opt for these circumstances, now more than ever, I am so grateful to be a part of the Visitation community. Please stay safe and stay home -- knowing that the Visitation Sisters and all of us at Visitation are praying for the health and safety of our entire community.
Sincerely,
Rene Gavic
