Dress Code: Jeans, skirt of appropriate length, or slacks are welcome. Sweaters or blouses are also appropriate. You may want to wear athletic shoes as your schedule may include physical education class. Tight yoga pants are not allowed unless worn with a long sweater or other long shirt.
What to Bring: Lunch is provided so there is no need to bring a lunch. A snack is welcome as there is a 9:40 a.m. break scheduled in the day. Cell phones are not allowed during the school day, but you are welcome to keep your phone in a purse or pocket.
Where and when to Enter: Your student host and enrollment personnel will meet you at door #1 (visitor entrance) at 7:50 a.m. Door #1 is located straight ahead on Visitation Drive at the first parking circle.
What to Expect: Expect to have fun and learn lots about our wonderful community. You will likely visit six or seven classes—core requirements as well as electives. You may also have the opportunity to attend a morning assembly, homeroom, club events, lunch with upper classwomen, and/or guest speakers or other special events.
This is Your Day: We encourage you to come with an open mind and prepare to take part in the day. Don’t hesitate to ask your host a variety of questions. If they don’t know the answer, they will ask friends, teachers, or enrollment staff.
Is there a teacher, coach, or captain that you would like to meet? Or an advisor for a particular club? Ask your student host or enrollment staff if that person is available, and if he or she could introduce you to them.
While you are on campus, you will end your day by visiting with enrollment personnel. This short interview will allow you to ask some final questions and give enrollment personnel a chance to get to know you better. You will be ready to be picked up at 3:05 p.m. at door #1 (visitor entrance).
