Sed Vitae Speaker Series: Cultivating Authentic Belonging

Join Visitation School Board of Trustee member Danielle Harrison on Wednesday, January 24 at 7 p.m. for an engaging discussion on how to foster an environment where your child can confidently embrace their authentic self at school and at home.

At the core of Salesian Spirituality lies the belief in the inherent goodness of every individual. Ms. Harrison will discuss how instilling this belief in your child can create a foundation to authentically embrace their many gifts while also helping those around them feel valued and accepted. We'll explore how understanding and appreciating diverse perspectives aligns with the teachings of empathy, compassion and inherent dignity within our Catholic faith.

Supporting your children as they learn to listen actively and empathetically to others empowers them to listen actively and empathetically to others with differing viewpoints. This can profoundly impact their ability to navigate in school and beyond confidently with an open mind and a compassionate heart.

The Visitation School Sed Vitae Speaker Series features speakers who embody the school’s motto: Non Scholae, Sed Vitae: Not for School, but for Life. Join us on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at Visitation School with a brief reception to follow. Event is free. Please share with friends and neighbors! Register below!
