The Visitation School Admissions Open House for Middle and Upper School is Monday, January 14 at 6 p.m. In this month's View from Vis, we share some of the most frequent questions and (and answers we provide) that prospective families ask.
Concussion Screening for 2018-19 Athletics
All student-athletes planning to participate in alpine skiing, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, soccer or softball at the high school level are required to have a current concussion screen on file in the athletics office prior to their first practice. Athletes may not participate without a current screen. All screens are valid for two years from the test date.
If your daughter is in need of a screening for the upcoming school year, or her previous screen will expire before or during the season of her chosen sport, please sign up for a concussion screening this summer at Visitation. This is a free service offered to Vis student-athletes. Register here.
If your daughter does not take advantage of the screening opportunities at school, she must obtain a screening from an ImPACT provider at your cost. Please click here to find an independent screening location that is convenient for you.
If you are unsure if your daughter needs a screening, please contact Tracie Gaertner in the athletics office at 651-683-1768 before June 9.
