Rene Gavic Fund
As Rene Gavic approaches retirement after 37 years at Visitation School, we offer gratitude for the profound impact Rene has had on our community, and in particular, on the thousands of students she taught, coached and guided. To honor her legacy and ensure her impact lives on, we are proud to announce the establishment of The Rene Gavic Fund.
This fund is a demonstration of Rene Gavic's commitment to education, accessibility and Salesian Spirituality. As Visitation School begins its next chapter, and with your generous support, The Rene Gavic Fund will benefit Visitation School in four critical areas:
Salesian Center: At the heart of Visitation School is the living legacy of the Visitation Sisters, whose beautiful charism infuses our community. Your support will ensure that the Salesian Center continues to be a vibrant hub of spiritual life, where the values and teachings of the Visitation Sisters flourish and inspire the next generation.
Crescent Fund: A hallmark of the Visitation School experience, the presentation gifting of the school Crescent to each graduating senior is a cherished tradition. With a goal of $325,000, the Endowed Crescent Fund will support this timeless tradition, ensuring every senior receives the crescent as a symbol of their sisterhood, which connects all Visitation alumnae across the world.
Annual Fund: By directing funds in Rene Gavic's name to the areas of highest need, your donation will support the evolving and immediate needs of our school community. This flexible funding allows us to adapt and innovate, ensuring that our students and faculty have the resources they need to excel.
Tuition Assistance: Education is the key to unlocking potential. The Rene Gavic Fund will open the doors to a Visitation School education to provide vital tuition assistance for families. When you donate to the Rene Gavic Fund, you invest in future leaders, critical thinkers, innovators and problem solvers. Your support helps to make a Vis education possible to those who desire to attend.
